With the repeated Chinese and Pakistan cyber bullying indian website, India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) said that it has step a team for developing a mechanism to make websites hacking-proof.
Dr VK Saraswat, Scientific Advisor to Defence Minister and Director General of DRDO, is the man said to be behind the project. He revealed this information on the sidelines of a function where he was conferred with a D. Sc degree by the KIIT University at its annual convocation.
Saraswat described cyber security as a major concern for the nation's safety.
Recently, CBI, India's premiere investigating agency official website was hacked by a group who identified themselves as "Pakistani Cyber Army".

A class XI, seventeen-year-old, Deepak Gupta, a science department student of Jawaharlal Navodya Vidhlaya at Rabong in South Sikkim has come up with eco-friendly vehicle design which works on the principle of electromagnetic induction magnetism (EMIM).
He said that the design has one system in the gear. "By pressing the buttons of the vehicle, one can increase or decrease the speed of the vehicle. With the help of the batteries, we start the dynamo which shall charge the electromagnetic induction motor which gives energy to the vehicle," he said to PTI.

Britain super luxury Auto maker Rolls Royce has said India joined China and Japan in selling its vehicles which are priced up to 4.25 crore rupees, making it third largest seller in Asia Pacific region.
Rolls Royce sold less than 10 units in 2009, expects to sell up to 70 units in 2010 in India.
He said the China tops the list in the region with eight dealerships that sell "hundreds" of cars of the brand. Japan follows with two dealerships.

One of the Top Indian industrialist, Wipro Chairman Azim Premji said that he will transfer company shares worth Rs 8,846 crore to his endowment trust named Azim Premji Foundation later this month.
"The trust will fund the philanthropic activities of the Foundation and not (for) any other purpose," said Azim Premji Foundation CEO Dileep Ranjekar.
The foundation, which was set up in 2001, works largely for the cause of education in rural India.

Before 30-sept 2010, India added 17.10 million mobile subscribers making the total number of mobile users to 687.71 million according to official data.
According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, the wireless phone user base grew 2.55 percent to 687.71 million in September, from 670.60 million in the previous month.
With this, the total telephone subscriber base in the country, both wireless and wireline, touched 723.28 million. The total telephone density reached 60.99 percent.

The giant goat, which weighed nearly four times a normal goat. Its owner Nadeem Khan said he had brought it from Chambal, Madhya Pradesh and had been rearing it for over two years, feeding it the best of food and milk.
He said he spent Rs. 400 per day on its care. He sold that goat for whopping around Rs.1.75 lakhs at the market.

In order to avoid another major threats like 26/11, in the country, the Indian Air Force is planning deploying detachments of fighter aircraft close to major cities so that they can deal with such threats in very less time.
According to officials, a small detachment of three to four dedicated aircraft would be deployed close to major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune to provide cover against any threats from hijacked aircraft, low speed and high speed aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), micro-light aircraft, paragliders, balloons and remote-controlled aero- models.

The much delayed mobile number portability (MNP) is now available in Haryana, but the rest of India has to wait till January 20, 2011, according to Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal.
