A US Website 'The Raw Story' comes up with an article showing relation between Assange arrest and US involvement. According to that article, one of Assange's rape accuser had ties with US's CIA.

Australia backs Assange, blames US for cables leak

In an interview to Reuters, backing its own country man, the Australian government blamed the USA, not the Julian Assange, WikiLeaks founder, for the unauthorised release of secret US diplomatic cables.

Australian Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd blasted at US security over the cables.

"Mr (Julian) Assange is not himself responsible for the unauthorised release of 250,000 documents from the US diplomatic communications network," Rudd told Reuters in an interview.

Bad news for the Wikileaks fans. London court has refused to grant bail to Julian Assange over sexually assault charges and was remanded in custody until 14 December.

A Wikileaks spokesman said the arrest was an attack on media freedom and pledged to continue publishing.

But Assange's lawyer, Mark Stephens said, he will try to apply for bail again.

Study by OECD ranks developed countries having brighter maths students.

Is the economic growth which china is projecting is unreliable? Wikileaks leaked cable tell us that Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang, admitted in 2007 that some of the country's economic data was 'man-made' and thus unreliable.

When evaluating the province's economy, Li said he focused on three figures - electricity consumption, volume of rail cargo and the amount of loans issued, a confidential memo released WikiLeaks.

WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange surrenders to UK police on a European warrant issued by Sweden over allegations of sex crimes including rape, says London's Metropolitan Police.

He had an international interpol warrant too. Swedish prosecutors issued the arrest order for Assange on suspicion of committing sexual crimes, which he denies.

With the repeated Chinese and Pakistan cyber bullying indian website, India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) said that it has step a team for developing a mechanism to make websites hacking-proof.

Dr VK Saraswat, Scientific Advisor to Defence Minister and Director General of DRDO, is the man said to be behind the project. He revealed this information on the sidelines of a function where he was conferred with a D. Sc degree by the KIIT University at its annual convocation.

Saraswat described cyber security as a major concern for the nation's safety.

Recently, CBI, India's premiere investigating agency official website was hacked by a group who identified themselves as "Pakistani Cyber Army".

DRDO is developing both software and hardware to put defence networks out of the reach of hackers, he said.

A Hardliner controversial Muslim cleric of an historic mosque of Pakistan's Khyber Paktunkhwa province has offered to pay 5 lakh rupees from Mosque fund for killing Asia Bibi, a Christian woman who was recently sentenced to death by a court for allegedly committing blasphemy.

Maulana Yusaf Qureshi, the imam of the well-known Mohabat Khan mosque, announced the reward for killing Asia Bibi during his sermon at the Friday prayers.

He announced that he would pay the money to the person who killed "blasphemor Asia Bibi". The payment would be made from the mosque's fund, he said.

India become third largest Rolls Royce's market in Asia Pacific.

Britain super luxury Auto maker Rolls Royce has said India joined China and Japan in selling its vehicles which are priced up to 4.25 crore rupees, making it third largest seller in Asia Pacific region.

Rolls Royce sold less than 10 units in 2009, expects to sell up to 70 units in 2010 in India.

He said the China tops the list in the region with eight dealerships that sell "hundreds" of cars of the brand. Japan follows with two dealerships.

Airbus with Lufthansa to launch world’s first passenger bio-fuel flights

According to recent press release from Airbus, Lufthansa is launching the world’s first ever scheduled commercial passenger flights using bio-fuel in the first half of 2011, with an IAE (International Aero Engines) powered Airbus A321 aircraft.

The first bio-fuel flight path, daily flights between Hamburg and Frankfurt.

The bio-fuel blend made from 50 per cent Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO)so less CO2 emissions.

According to estimation by World Health Organisation(WHO) researchers, one in a hundred deaths worldwide is due to passive smoking.

In the first study to assess the global impact of second-hand smoke, WHO experts found that children are more heavily exposed to second-hand smoke than any other age-group, and around 165,000 of them a year die because of it.

BBC Panorama exposes 3 top senior FIFA officials in bribery scandal.

In programme broadcast by BBC on Monday evening, Panorama reported that three senior Fifa officials who will vote on the 2018 and 2022 World Cup bids took bribes in the 1990s.

Ricardo Teixeira, Issa Hayatou and Nicolas Leoz took the money from a sport marketing firm awarded lucrative World Cup rights, the programme alleges.
