Airbus with Lufthansa to launch world’s first passenger bio-fuel flights

According to recent press release from Airbus, Lufthansa is launching the world’s first ever scheduled commercial passenger flights using bio-fuel in the first half of 2011, with an IAE (International Aero Engines) powered Airbus A321 aircraft.

The first bio-fuel flight path, daily flights between Hamburg and Frankfurt.

The bio-fuel blend made from 50 per cent Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO)so less CO2 emissions.

According to research and from sources close to Tech site Tech Crunch, The internal codename for Google’s upcoming social project is “Emerald Sea“.

As one of their sources told , these codenames quickly evolve. As of right now, we’re hearing it’s being called “Google +1″ or “Google Plus One”.

Another source suggests another possible name Google is considering: “@Google” or “At Google”.

New York Times article leads to change in Google search result ranking Algorithm

On Wednesday Google had announced that it had changed the way it ranks search results.

This happened because The New York Times published about the ordeal of Clarabelle Rodriguez, who bought a pair of glasses and contact lenses from DecorMyEyes in July.

The change was prompted by a recent incident involving Vitaly Borker, a Brooklyn-based online seller of eyeglasses. Mr Borker claimed that he purposely shouted at and frightened some of the customers at DecorMyEyes.com because the online complaints actually worked in his favour in Google search results.

Recently, China has unveiled its first ever electronic passports that contain embedded microchip containing all the information.

One of the Chinese official says that the adoption of electronic passports complies with international trends and plays an important role in international travel for officials.

The embedded microchip contains personal data including name, family name, personal numeric code, the document's term of validity, the issuing agency and citizenship, China Daily reported.

According to study carried out by Dutch university, They observe that Wi-Fi radiation are causing unknown abnormalities in trees.

The dutch city of Alphen aan den Rijn started this study 5 years ago to figure out why their city's trees were developing weird growths, according to PC World.

The study, conducted by a researcher at Wageningen University, found that 70 percent of trees in urban areas exhibited similar symptoms today, while only 10 percent did five years ago. What's to blame for the increase? Wi-Fi, maybe.

The much delayed mobile number portability (MNP) is now available in Haryana, but the rest of India has to wait till January 20, 2011, according to Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal.

The minister on Thursday rolled out the first phase of the MNP services from Rohtak in Haryana. Mobile number portability (MNP) is a system where now have the option of changing their service provider without changing their mobile numbers.
