London: It's business as unusual for a British milkman - the 69-year-old has become fluent in at least two Indian languages: Gujarati and Bengali, as many of his customers can't speak English.
John "Jimmy" Mather first delivered milk in 1960 and soon made friends with the few immigrants on his round from India and Bangladesh. And, as more Asian families settled in with very little or no English, this British milkman started learning their language and mastered spoken Gujarati and Bengali, the Daily Express reported.
"When I began in 1960 there used to be a handful of Asian families in the region. I can still remember the first few people I served. They were good, decent folk but obviously their English wasn't good. So I picked it up myself and it made things a whole lot easier," he was quoted as saying.

Oberhausen is located in Germany, where Octopus Paul was born.

Just kidding there is no way that Kim Jong-il will allow him to visit his base :).
Recently, Justin Bieber's Twitter page has become embarrassment for himself.
A public vote on the Canadian singer's My World Tour page asked users which country he should tour next, with no restrictions on the nations that could be voted on.
This spurred users of imageboard website 4Chan to nominate North Korea, with the vote now turning viral.
There are now almost half a million votes to send Bieber to the secretive communist nation.

A man beat his two-year-old stepdaughter then suffocated her to death in an American town for crying during a World Cup football match between the US and Ghana which the latter won. To make the killing look accidental, he jammed a screw down her throat.
Hector Castro, 28, has been arrested for murdering in McAllen city in Texas Saturday. Ghana beat the US 2-1.
The Monitor quoted McAllen police chief Victor Rodriguez as saying: "There are no words for this. It makes you want to think about doing lots of things to this guy, but he will face the criminal justice system just like everybody else."

(ANI): The US Homeland Security Department has put a six-year-old Indian origin American girl on the "no fly" list on the grounds of having suspected ties to terrorists.
Alyssa Thomas, 6, is under the spotlight of the US Government, and her family recently came to know that she is on the "no fly" list maintained by the US Homeland Security.
"We were, like, puzzled. I'm like, well, she's kinda six-years-old and this is not something that should be typical," said Dr. Santhosh Thomas.
During a recent trip from Cleveland to Minneapolis, Dr. Thomas and his wife were made aware of the listing. The ticket agent at the Continental counter at Hopkins Airport notified the family, FOX News reports.

The idea that alcohol and drugs can stimulate writers, musicians and others to create great works of art is a "dangerous myth" because they can actually stifle creativity, says a psychiatrist.
Iain Smith, consultant in addiction psychiatry at Gartnavel Royal Hospital in Glasgow, said that while many artists and writers were known for their use of intoxicating substances, most produced their greatest work when they were sober."
Smith said: "The reason that this myth is so powerful is the allure of the substances and the fact that many artists need drugs to cope with their emotions. Artists are, in general, emotional people, and the use of these substances to deal with their emotions is more likely to happen."

A clever guy making money for himself by cashing the hype of iPhone 4.
Chris Bank had secured the first spot in the iPhone 4 line, but he already has eight iPhones. So he decided to rent out his tent. For “just” $300, you can be the first person to get your hands on an iPhone from the San Francisco store.
While nobody has rented the tent yet, you’ve got to believe that some busy businessperson would be willing to pay a few hundred bucks to cut to the front of the line.
It might be no problem for him though if his tent is not rented, atleast he some publicity :D.

Human on Asteroids by 2025?

Almost 50 years after President Kennedy proposed sending a man to the moon "before this decade is out," Obama has set an equally improbable goal. He has proposed a 2025 date for NASA to land humans on an asteroid, a ball of rock hurtling around the sun.
The moon is 240,000 miles away. A trip to an asteroid would be 5 million miles — at a minimum.
An asteroid trip "would really be our first step as a species outside the Earth-moon system," says planetary scientist Andy Rivkin of the Applied Physics Laboratory. "This would be taking off the training wheels."
