Japan's sumo is going through its hard times from damaging scandals and declining popularity. Recently investigation suggests that the sumo wrestlers might be having ties with organised criminals(Underworld)

On Sunday, the Japan Sumo Association, the sport's governing body, announced the firing of a top wrestler and a stable master a powerful coach who controls a cluster of wrestlers for betting on professional baseball games in a gambling ring run by organized crime. Two other stable masters were demoted, and 18 other wrestlers were barred from competing in the next tournament.

This came after an apparently unrelated scandal two months ago over the sale of tickets for prized seats at the foot of the sport's raised dirt ring to around 50 members of the Yamaguchi-gumi, Japan's largest crime syndicate. The seats allowed the gangsters, known as yakuza, to be clearly visible during television broadcasts of the bouts, a brazen display that sumo experts said was aimed at cheering up an incarcerated syndicate boss watching from prison.

Shopping is really bad for men's health and fertility, scientists are now saying after new research.

Researchers have discovered that a chemical compound found on some cash receipts contains a hazardous substance, Bisphenol A (BPA), which suppresses male hormones in the body and can make men impotent.

The compound, used to make ink visible on thermally sensitive paper, is ingested when men handle the paper and then touch their mouths or handle food.

Frank Sommer, a Berlin-based urologist, said the substance could just affect sex hormones in men.

"A substance like that could shift the balance of sex hormones in men towards oestrogen," Sommer was quoted as saying by The Telegraph newspaper here.

Chemical that can stop you eating for pleasure found .

Scientists have found an appetite suppressant that can curb the desire for "pleasure eating", a discovery that could lead to a new class of dieting drugs.

Researchers at Manchester University found that the substance called hemopressin, which occurs naturally in the body, affects the reward centres of the brain that light up when someone enjoys a comforting snack or cigarette.

It was found to be blocking these areas of the brain, reducing the craving for post-pub kebabs and calorific late-night snacks.

Dr Garron Dodd, who led the research, said the finding could lead to drugs that can stimulate the brain to produce more hemopressin, which will prevent people from eating purely for pleasure instead of from hunger.

There are now almost half a million votes to send Bieber to the secretive communist nation.

Google fixes the Youtube flaw which lets the Hacker exploit it.

YouTube has fixed a flaw allowing hackers to bombard users with fake pop-up messages and redirect them to adult sites.

Hackers placed code in the comments section, under targeted videos, that would run when people watched the clip.

In some cases, a pop-up screen appeared reporting that the Canadian singer, Justin Bieber, had died in a car crash.

Google, which owns YouTube, said that it had fixed the problem "about two hours" after it was discovered.

High Tech ATM Thieves can empty your account.

Thieves are using high-tech skimmers to steal account information at automatic teller machines — and victims don't know they have a problem until they see their statements.

Cyber security expert Brian Krebs tracks ATM scams on his blog and he says new technology is helping scammers steal even more of your information at ATMs.

"If it's done correctly you would not notice that anything looks amiss," Krebs says.

In a traditional skimming scam, thieves place a card-skimming device into the card insertion slot. The skimmer can steal account information stored on the magnetic strip on back of the card when it is dipped into the machine.

YouTube gets hacked.

Members of the Internet communities 4chan and others hacked YouTube using a vulnerability in the site’s comment system. Hack was used on a variety of videos, striking music videos featuring teen pop idol Justin Bieber was the most popular activity.

Twitter was flooded with complaints about the problem, Google support got some concerned posts on its forum, and we received tips in our inbox. The event caused quite a Sunday-morning stir.

The bug allowed users to inject HTML (the code that most websites are built with) that could be executed on the site, whereas HTML within comments is supposed to be restricted. The hackers did everything from force pop-up messages to appear over the site declaring that it had been hacked to redirecting Bieber video pages to sites hosting pornography and malware.
