Looks like the popularity of Bollywood music is expanding beyond Sub-Continent and Hollywood. Lately at Asian Wrestling Championship, during medal ceremony, the organizers had faced huge embarrassment by not playing the South Korean National anthem, instead played popular Hindi song.

The Korean who finished first and were waiting for their national anthem to be played were amused when they heard different tune. The organizers realized that it wasn't South Korean national anthem when the lyrics of the Hindi song started. The music was instantly cut off and the Korean participants were escorted off the podium without the national anthem playing ritual.

Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), a state funded radio and television network says that it had banned Psy's latest music video (Gentlemen) from being broadcasted from their network because the latest YouTube sensation is shown abusing national(public) property.

  • In the dating themed film he says he is looking for ‘the most delicious thing on the planet’, as well as indulging in appropriately cheesy Bollywood parodying dancing.
  • The ad has drawn the wrath of many on the Internet, including Indian-descended rap group Das Racist. 
  • Blogger and entrepreneur Anil Dash also wrote a lengthy entry on his website about his disgust at the advert.
  • The spokesman at the company explained the ad was not meant to be offensive, though stopped short of offering an apology.

  • New york Times reports, potato chips that featured the actor Ashton Kutcher playing an “Indian” character named “Raj” in brown makeup with a sing-song accent appears to have been pulled after drawing heavy criticism from Indian-Americans the day it started. 
  • The $1.5 million campaign, developed by the chip company Popchips, Mr. Kutcher and the ad agency Zambezi, and promoted by Alison Brod PR, featured Mr. Kutcher as four different male characters looking for love.

Bookies William Hill said the man bagged 353,000 pounds after winning a seven-horse accumulator bet.

Militants in Kashmir, India forms Rock band in Jail.

A group of militants who are in jail at Kot Bhalwal set up their own band, named, the Inmates Pipe Band and was inaugurated by BR Sharma, principal secretary of the home ministry, Tuesday.

The band members will be allowed to go out of the prison confines to perform, officials said.

The band has been formed by the prisons department as part of its initiatives to reform prisoners and create opportunities for them for a fruitful vocation once they are out of jail. The band is also one of the very few "inmate bands" in the country.

What can you do when the most powerful man on the earth robs the bank??? Something similar, but not equal happens in Austria. A man wearing a rubber mask of US President Barack Obama robbed a bank in Handenberg in Upper Austria, at the time, when the banks was about to be closed.

Police believe the same man, disguised in his Obama mask, has been carrying out such bank raids for the past two years.

The daily Kronenzeitung, in its online edition, says that robber got hands on 10,000 euros (USD 13,500).
