Anil Ambani and elder brother Mukesh Ambani and their families are vacationing together in the same lodge in Kruger National Park. This adds to growing evidence that they have sunk their differences possibly knocking down the “Deewaar”.
They spent three days together “by design” and will return to Mumbai on Sunday evening.
It has been a decade since the two brothers went for a holiday together. In 2000, they vacationed with their families and father Dhirubhai Ambani and mother Kokilaben Ambani.
Since then, the two nature loving brothers have avoided being in the same location together at the same time.
The differences between the brothers started growing when their father Dhirubhai died on July 6, 2002. This resulted in disputes leading to a family settlement on June 18, 2005, which could not sink their differences.
After a long legal battle over gas, the two brothers signed a pace pact on May 23. It appears the pact has brought peace between the two families.
On May 30, Anil Ambani rested in a guest house owned by Mukesh’s Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) at Tirumala, signalling the beginning of a cordial relationship.
Officials of both RIL and Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group group declined to comment. Travel industry sources, however, confirmed the development.
