Without proper coordination and ineffective prediction of weather condition, India will soon induct C-130 Hercules manufactured by Boeing, wit the latest technology to monitor, warn and undertake research on cyclones and other natural disasters through a multipurpose `250-crore Aircraft Probing of Cyclone Facility (APCF), according to Mr Marri Shashidhar Reddy, member, National Disaster Management Authority.
India and the United States have also signed an agreement during the recent visit of US President Barrack Obama which will give India access to US technology for natural disasters and modelling,” he disclosed.
This will help the lives of people and fisher man and to some extent the crop damage.
