A new type of display is being developed by group consisting of US, South Korean and Belgian corporates.
Quantum-dot light emitting diode (QLED) displays is being developed to outplace the organic light emitting diode (OLED) and LCD, that may be the future of display, seen on every computer and smartphones.
Massachusetts company QD Vision, with LG Display(Seoul), and Solvay, a chemical company based in Belgium had started their work to develop and manufacture active matrix QLED displays.
QLED using by using nano-scale semiconducting crystals that shine when exposed to electrical current or light , producing a bright light and vibrant pure colors.
