Bad news for the Wikileaks fans. London court has refused to grant bail to Julian Assange over sexually assault charges and was remanded in custody until 14 December.
A Wikileaks spokesman said the arrest was an attack on media freedom and pledged to continue publishing.
But Assange's lawyer, Mark Stephens said, he will try to apply for bail again.
But there won't be any pausing in the release on classified US diplomatic cables, says Mr Stephens also said Wikileaks would continue to publish material and added: "We are on cable 301 and there are 250,000 secret cables."
He said Wikileaks is being operated by a group of people at different secret locations.
Five major known faces of UK stood in court in favor of Assange offering to put up sureties. They are Journalist John Pilger, film director Ken Loach and Jemima Khan, the sister of Conservative MP Zac Goldsmith.
