With new online system, which India has introduced for faster, easier processing of the applications for grant of Indian citizenship.
Home ministry says, I will show its transparency by this system. With this new system, helps in creating a centralised database of citizenship applications .
Earlier, the process was to submit the application to district magistrate from where it was sent to state government and then the union home ministry which was a very long process.
Can be applied at Ministry of Home Affairs(Indian Govt)
