Though the storytelling of the kites not extra ordinary nor a new story but kites is flying high and high due to world media which is hyping it as much as possible. Kites had gone through many delays and postponements of release date.
Kites even gather some talk in early stages of production due differences between Anurag Basu and Rakesh Roshan. The Kites was most awaited because the handsome hunk hrithik roshan was back to sliver screen after Jodhaakbar which also was a huge hit.
The other reason for the kites flying high is Mexican beauty Barbara Mori who plays a female lead role in pakka Bollywood movie.
According to initial reports, the film has grossed over Rs 200 crore. Hrithik also thanked the people for making a successful film through his tweets. I hope Roshans are very happy with this international project.

(Wired) -- Sales of the iPad are already outpacing those of the Mac in the United States, according to an analyst's calculations.
Apple is selling more than 200,000 iPads per week, says Mike Abramsky, an RBC Capital Markets analyst. That's almost twice the rate of Mac computers, which average about 110,000 units sold each week.
The iPad isn't outselling the iPhone, though it's coming close. Apple was selling about 246,000 units of the iPhone 3GS per week during its first quarter of launch.

The Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal were both carrying full-page "We Love Apple" adverts on Friday morning, but the space was not bought by the Californian technology giant but by Adobe, the web technology firm that is locked in a bitter dispute with Steve Jobs.
The adverts, using a variant of the famous "I love New York" motif created by Milton Glaser, have appeared in newspapers including the Wall Street Journal and San Jose Mercury and online on websites including Wired and TechCrunch.
They present the latest front in an increasingly nasty war between the two companies. Adobe's web video technology Flash is not supported by Apple's iPad or iPhone and Jobs has publicly criticised it for causing battery problems and crashes.

After the big saga of iPhone > Grey Powell > Gizmodo > Jason chen > apple > steve jobs. First the prototype of iPhone 4G was disguised with others in bar which was accidentally left by apple engineer Grey Powell.
This prototype was discovered by the Gizmodo people and was review by the popular tech blog site Gizmodo.com. This made apple's Steve Job angry and made jason chen house raided by police and computers were seized.
This great apple-gizmodo made a healty hyped talk around the world and as well as in World media.
Now iPhone is back on news. This time a Vietnamese forum Taoviet.vn has posted images of the iPhone 4G prototype. This was soon followed by a YouTube video uploaded by Tinhte.com.
Unlike Gizmodo's iPhone 4G, this version was turned on and it did not seem to run the iPhone OS. The phone was a prototype did not respond to any input methods. The back panel of the phone has a large camera with LED flash.
The device also lacks the screws at the bottom that were present in the phone that Gizmodo acquired.
An deeper look into the dismantled phone revealed an Apple-branded chip that reports suggest could be a reduced version of the A4 processor found on the Apple iPad.

Normally, we don’t allow anything to come between us,” jokes Shoaib Malik as you slip in the recorder in the little space available on the sofa shared by his wife Sania Mirza.
On a serious note, that line pretty much sums up the chemistry between the newly-weds who are having a ball of a time.Being a sporting couple obviously has its own advantages and Sania has a long list of them. “Lot of things can be left unsaid; they don’t need to be explained. You understand each other’s lifestyles, mood swings (sportspersons go through a gamut of emotions during matches). A lot of things are similar — we understand the importance of training, rest, practice and having a good time… He’s been around when I’ve lost matches and I’ve been around on the phone when he has lost games. You know sometimes, it’s ok to shut up — you don’t want to talk about shopping when someone’s lost a match. It’s a bit difficult for non-sportspersons to understand that. There are so many small things which I think are much easier in life,” she reveals.

We all know that advertisers need to pay for clicks to keep the web spinning. But what does it mean when publishers start paying for them as well?
I'm not talking about some seedy click-mills in the Far East where drudges press buttons to gin traffic, but a far more transparent and audacious strategy in which a publisher pays for content that he knows will be irresistible.

Reporting from nytimes.com
Ever since Google disclosed in January that Internet intruders had stolen information from its computers, the exact nature and extent of the theft has been a closely guarded company secret. But a person with direct knowledge of the investigation now says that the losses included one of Google’s crown jewels, a password system that controls access by millions of users worldwide to almost all of the company’s Web services, including e-mail and business applications.
The program, code named Gaia for the Greek goddess of the earth, was attacked in a lightning raid taking less than two days last December, the person said. Described publicly only once at a technical conference four years ago, the software is intended to enable users and employees to sign in with their password just once to operate a range of services.
