Militants in Kashmir, India forms Rock band in Jail.

A group of militants who are in jail at Kot Bhalwal set up their own band, named, the Inmates Pipe Band and was inaugurated by BR Sharma, principal secretary of the home ministry, Tuesday.

The band members will be allowed to go out of the prison confines to perform, officials said.

The band has been formed by the prisons department as part of its initiatives to reform prisoners and create opportunities for them for a fruitful vocation once they are out of jail. The band is also one of the very few "inmate bands" in the country.

The popular rocker of yester years, The Rolling Stones plan to hit the road in 2011, despite rumours that they had retired from touring altogether.

"Everybody's ready to go out there again," guitarist Keith Richards told BBC 6 Music. "Who said it should stop, and who said when?"

According to Wall Street Journal, google is planing to formally enter into the Music Business and is said to be in talk with Music Industry Giants.

Google Music store might be made for Android driven phone and for the Web and later be expanded to other medium. But it might take few months to come out.

The discussions come as the Mountain View, Calif.-based search company has been ramping up on entertainment content. Google is also moving to add professional content on its YouTube video site, and is planning to roll out a digital bookstore this year.

Google’s iTunes Competitor Will Likely Be Called Google Music.

At Google I/O a few weeks ago, Google teased the audience with a glimpse of a web-based iTunes competitor that would be a new section of the Android Market.

Google also announced the acquisition of Simplify Media. Using Simplify’s technology, Google will offer a desktop app that will give you access to all DRM-free media on Android devices remotely.

This new market wouldn’t be Google’s first foray into music. Last fall, Google announced Music Onebox, new kind of Google search result that lets you instantly stream songs directly from Google’s results page; and Google Discover Music, a search engine to find songs on the web.
