The 44-year-old actor, who flaunted a six-pack body in the 2008 movie 'Ghajini' but again gained weight for his college-kid role in '3 Idiots', has embarked on a diet and excercise plan and has invited his fans to join him.
"Visited my dietician today. I really need to get back into shape. So Monday onwards back to my diet and workout.
Hey why don't those of you who want to, join me in this. Every day we post a report of whether we were able to stick to the diet, and whether we hit the gym. How does that sound?" the actor wrote on his Facebook page.
"We can post before and after photos as well. At the end of 3 months we will be one hell of a fit bunch!" he added.
Aamir has laid down his entire dietary plan on his blog for his fans to read and follow. He has shared whatever knowledge he has gathered in the past few years in the process of building a physique and losing weight.
"3 things are most important, and in that order: 1. A healthy and balanced diet. 2. Exercise. 3. Rest. Actually exercise and rest are equally important, but the most important is a healthy and balanced diet.(sic)," Aamir wrote on his blog.
